Bright and qualified professionals with master or bachelor  degree in international trade, master of business administration, master of marketing & sales and textiles technology graduates may also be considered for joining our team as Trainees.

Job Description

Tasks & Activities 

1) Pre- shipment tracking of order 

  • Tracking the shipment Delivery status 
  • Ensuring the shipment is done on line wire basis 

2) Shipment Booking 

  • Communicating with the forwarder regarding the freight rates 
  • Getting competitive best rates with forwarder 
  • Sharing the rates with the Sales Team 
  • Checking the Projected Freight Cost in PO. 
  • Taking Alignment with the sales team/ Division head in case of deviation (+/-10%) 
  • Taking approval of Final Freight rate with respective MR. 
  • Informing the forwarder and confirm the Booking 
  • Getting the SO from forwarder. 
  • Sharing the SO with Sales Team. 

3) Shipment Execution 

  • Ensuring the container is picked up by the supplier before the Cut off date. 
  • Ensuring the Container is Gate in the port. 
  • Ensuring the SI for 1st Leg BL is provided before the cut off date 
  • Confirming whether the Container is Loaded on Vessel as per given time 
  • Getting the 1st Leg BL draft from Forwarder 
  • Sharing the 1st Leg BL draft with Sales Team and get in approved 
  • Getting Final copy of 1st Leg BL from forwarder 
  • Ensuring the 1st Leg BL is issued and couriered to the shipper 
  • Providing the shipping instruction for 2nd Leg BL Getting the 2nd Leg BL draft with forwarder 
  • Sharing the 2nd Leg BL draft with Sales team and get in approved 
  • Ensuring the freight payment is done to forwarder as per agreed terms. 
  • Ensuing the 1st Leg BL is surrendered by supplier and couriered to the Forwarder 
  • In case of Telex release / BL print at destination sharing the sign and stamp LOI with Forwarder 
  • Getting the Telex release/ BL print at destination confirmation with the Forwarder 
  • Sharing the Telex release/ BL print at destination copy with the Accounts team and Sales Team

4) Post shipment tracking and updating. 

  • Tracking the container position 
  • In case of container stuck in Transshipment port for than 14 days, sharing the  information with Sales team 
  • Communicating with the Forwarder/ Shipping line regarding the issue and get it solved 
  • In case of Container not cleared in Destination port for more than 7 Days, asking the Sales team regarding the matter and get in cleared. 
  • Checking if the empty container is returned to shipping Line. 

5) Preparation of final documents as required under the agreed sales terms. ∙ Getting the Draft documents with the supplier. 

  • Ensuring the PO is approved and TNA is generated 
  • Ensuring the payment Terms / Price matching with the system 
  • Raise invoice and provide DRAFT documents to the Sales Team 
  • Apply for the Marine Insurance for CIF Term documents 
  • Apply for the CO from HK Chamber and provide DRAFT CO to Sales Team for  approval 
  • Getting the DRAFT CO approved by sales Team 
  • Apply for the Final CO and get the original CO issue 
  • Getting the Final Documents with the supplier 
  • Raising the Final Documents as per compliance 
  • Uploading the documents in CargoX after confirmation receive from Sales Team.
