Job Description

Essential

Oversee the day to day operation of computer networks:

Setup, configure and support internal and external networks.
Provide technical (hardware & software) support and guidance to users.
Plan, design and implement data connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems.
Perform daily server backups.

Assist in coordinating special projects including

Network-related wiring plans.
LAN/WAN hardware/software purchases.
System installation, backup, maintenance, and problem-solving.

Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security and network configurations.
Troubleshoot network performance issues and create and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Provide network and remote connectivity hardware/software support.
Monitor usage to ensure the security of data and access privileges.
Establish and maintain user accounts, profiles, file sharing, access privileges, and security.
Research, analyze, monitor, troubleshoot and resolve server or data network problems.
Provide on-call emergency network support on weekends.
Work closely with Systems Administration and Applications Development to ensure all systems are running at optimal performance.

Desirable

Excellent Knowledge of Mikrotik Router Configuration and Cisco Switch Configuration.
Thorough understanding of networks used on app based containers and linux containers.
Ability to administer Next-Generation Firewalls.
VPN Creation, Bandwidth limiting, VLAN Creation.
Installing and maintaining the windows server.
Administering windows Active Directory.
Understanding of Wireless Network Management System.
