Job Description

Essential

Analyze Project Requirements
Develop test plans, test cases and automate test cases
Maintain QA matrices
Excellent Problem solving & troubleshooting capabilities
Effectively participate in all agile events
Report any issues or risks to team Retest, Regression test whenever required
Responsible for ensuring product quality and design, execute testing procedures, manuals and taking corrective actions.
Create and execute detailed and well-structured test plans.
Design, develop and execute automation scripts using open-source tools.
Identify, record, document, and track bugs.
Perform thorough regression testing.
Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to ensure error free launch and execution
Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to ensure proper communication and closure of issues identified during testing.
Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

Desirable

Graduate in Engineering/Computer Science with 2-5 years of relevant experience
Prior work experience in software quality assurance. Exposure in DevOps culture is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
Hands-on experience with at least one open source automated testing tools specially in mobile app testing
