Rural Development Centre (RDC) Nepal is a non-political and non-profitable organization established in June 2002 with its head office in Rautahat District of Nepal. Since then, RDC is heavily engaged in humanitarian assistance, community development, conservation of natural resources, and environmental protection mainly in the Terai region of Nepal through the dozens of humanitarian and long-term development projects reaching out to the children, adolescent, youth, women, landless, urban poor, and people living with disabilities, HIV & AIDS, conflict and disaster survivors from the poor families of historically marginalized Dalits, Muslims, Madheshi and Indigenous communities and other underprivileged groups.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal, RDC Nepal started working in Garuda and Madhav Narayan Municipalities of Rautahat district. So, RDC Nepal seeking qualified, dynamic, and motivated Nepali citizen on following position for smooth implementation of Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (CESP) Positive Deviance (PD) Hearth and Ultra Poor Graduation (UPG) project(s).

Bachelor’s degree in business/management or in any relevant discipline with at least 2 years of work experiences in supply chain and logistics management.
  • Managing Purchasing Requisition, Executing and Solicitation of Sourcing Methods and Implement Strategic Sourcing
  • Contract management, general office administration and logistics management.
  • Payment/Invoice Processing, Risk Management, Compliance and Review
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Effective Communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proven experience as a team player
  • Strong knowledge of Procure-to-Pay processes

Field Officer (Nutrition) (1-Nos.)

Bachelor’s degree in Public Health and Nutrition or in any relevant discipline with at least 2 years of work experience.
  • Sector knowledge on maternal-child health and nutrition (Infant and Young Child Feeding practices (IYCF), Integrated Management of Acute Malnutrition (IMAM), Maternal and infant young child nutrition (MIYCN), Multi-sector Nutrition Plan (MSNP)).
  • Government policies, strategies, and training packages (Comprehensive Nutrition Package)
  • Informed and able to disseminate WVIN NRL TP and priorities, core project model (PD Hearth and Citizen Voice and Action (CVA)) – Highly Desirable
  • Sound knowledge on behavior change communication approaches Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) approach.
  • Updated knowledge of COVID-19 and changing context
