We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Technology Business Development Management to join our team and contribute to the growth of our company. You will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales strategy. You’ll be a leader to secure new clients for Stupa by sourcing new sales opportunities within a target market – Nepal and beyond. Your work can involve careful strategic planning and positioning in the appropriate markets, or enhancing the operation of the business, position or reputation in some way. 


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand a portfolio of corporate clients by networking and marketing
  • Assess client Information security and Cybersecurity needs and make recommendations, including products and service packages
  • Prepare sales visits and presentations to pitch Stupa’s product, service, and combination packages to clients
  • Demonstrate Stupa’s product and services to highlight unique benefits
  • Sell Information security, Software and Consultancy services and solutions, technology to Government Agencies, Critical National Infrastructure and security customers in the Nepal, UK, Europe and other target markets, generating revenues and margins in line with targets
  • Build long term relationships with key decision makers in different business verticals
  • Negotiate sales, package discounts, and long-term contracts with clients
  • Establish the business sales and marketing strategysales goals and implements a plan to meet those goals
  • Develop long term strategies to grow and develop strategic accounts
  • Track progress toward goals and documents sales performance
  • Become fluent in all products and services offered by Stupa through testing, demonstrations, and research
  • Identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existinmarkets
  • Answer questions describe benefits, and discuss the pros and cons of various competing products or services
  • Gain familiarity with the IT and Cybersecurity industry, and stay updated on trends and innovative products
  • Create marketing literature and web-based features to promote products and time-sensitive sales
  • Attend trade exhibitions and industry events to learn about cutting-edge products and sales
  • Work with found founders/senior management/the board of directors and advise on the direction of travel on sales and growth opportunities
  • Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals
  • Develop and work on a variety of bid and tender opportunities as required
  • Establish strong customer relationship by providing accurate and timely information to customers regarding inquiries such as products, pricing, quotes and issues/concerns
  •  Be a brand ambassador in the marketplace, participating in industry events and forums
