Core Function: This position will lead, develop, and manage all information technology systems, applications, and equipment in the Habitat for Humanity International Nepal office. This includes both tracking equipment inventory as well as maintenance and repair need of equipment, LAN, server, IT network, and internet services. Manage/develop SharePoint and MS cloud services, develop SharePoint application, develop Power Apps Application both browser/mobile, manage/monitor Enterprise mobility and security (Intune, Microsoft 365 Device Management, Azure AD server, Identity and access management, Endpoint Management, Information Protection, Identify driven security).

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide technical support to employees: Analyze and resolve computer problems; oversee computer maintenance and repair.
  • Coordinate service needs with outsourced providers for IT network, internet, and LAN; maintain the server capacity, maintain computer inventory.
  • Provide procurement specs for computer hardware and software and serve as primary liaison with IT-related vendors and suppliers.
  • Ensure internet connection for staff and guests. Manage/Monitor bandwidth as per the user’s needs. 
  • Manage databases, schedules, calendars, reports, and email distribution and contact lists, updating and distributing them as appropriate under the direction of the Senior Management Team.
  • Administration, support, and configuration of MS Office 365 for staff.
  • Configure and administer SharePoint and automate tasks.
  • Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint online environment including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.
  • Identify and report governance violations for Enterprise SharePoint using DLP and Information Rights Management- IRM configurations for O365 SharePoint
  • Maintenance/sustainment of SharePoint sites and subsites, lists, libraries, and content (including pages, workflows, and items).
  • Manage and maintain site Content and Structure settings, Site Hierarchy, and site collection navigation.
  • Support Microsoft One Drive for Business, SharePoint Library/sites sync issues and work with the users to recover data lost
  • Manage computer program files on the public drive/SharePoint: removing, adding and organizing files as directed.
  • Setup and configuration of Enterprise Mobility & Security - Azure AD Premium to support SSO; Azure AD Rights Management; enrolling and managing corporate device, mobile devices (BYOD, CYOD, COBO) using MS Intune.
  • Designing and developing cloud-specific security policies, standards, and procedures e.g., O365/EMS tenant management and configuration, identify management and access control, firewall management, auditing and monitoring, security incident and event management, data protection, user and administrator account management, Single Sign-On, conditional access controls and password/key management.
  • Design and Develop/Upgrade Application using (Power Apps, Flow, SharePoint- Mobile/Web version as required).  
  • Test PowerApps model and canvas-driven apps as well as enhance existing apps and provide postproduction support.
  • Use multiple OOTB Connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate, and preferably create custom connectors for PowerApps and Power Automate.
  • Perform and coordinate system testing, user acceptance testing and beta testing, collaborate with teams to integrate systems, contribute to training, and roll-out of solutions. Documentation, report templates by coordinating with concerned departments to customize the software and reports according to their needs and ensure that their operational requirements are met.
  • Create documentation for projects, including design, diagrams, presentations, and documentation of the environment and deployment.
  • Provide support to other Habitat different Country offices as per the direction from AP regarding Office 365, Microsoft 365 Device Management includes - (Providing full support on obtaining a non-profit license from Microsoft, TechSoup enrollment, User Creation, Assigning License, Email Migration to Exchange Server, Name server/DNS/MX Record/CNAME RECORD change.) 
  • Monitoring, maintaining network/router equipment of an organization along with Upgrading to the latest stable firmware releases; securing network systems by establishing and enforcing policies/firewall.
  • Maintain/Update Official Webpage. Renew domain, as necessary. Add/remove SUBDOMAIN as per the need of the organization.
  • Develop and Implement IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
  • Design and provide training programs on security/IT Tips and Tricks/Application uses for staff. 
  • Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
  • Conduct virus check and removal if necessary.
  • Maintain IT equipment & instruments inventory.
  • Communication Device Set-up and maintenance.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Education Qualification and Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or other relevant fields.
  • Minimum of three years of work experience in the IT sector. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the IT and Operations environment in Nepal.
  • Working experience in managing Microsoft Office 365 and related technologies.
  • Experience in either code-based or codeless application development.
  • Demonstrated ability to work productively within a team or individually.
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively and willing to help colleagues.
  • Able to work effectively in cross-cultural settings; can support, negotiate, and cooperate with those of other cultures.
  • Proactively manage workloads and multiple priorities efficiently and with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.
  • Fluency in Nepalese and English language.
