Job Description

  • Strategically lead and develop a team to enhance performance by setting clear accountable performance measures for logistics partners and team
  • Build a strong partnership with logistics partners through regular and consistent professional communication, problem-solving and relationship building. Promote collaboration, coordination, and teamwork across organizational boundaries
  • Implement processes and controls to ensure delivery service exceeds customer expectations
  • Monitor customer satisfaction, address field issues and manage performance to defined metrics
  • Drive improvement in last-mile operations with appropriate training and projects
  • Oversee reporting on key metrics such as cost per package, lead time, delivery success rate percentages. Continually assess current service performance levels and trends and take timely action to remove performance barriers
  • Profit maximization through minimization of cost
  • Identify the operational loopholes and correction methods for service improvement
  • Strategically lead and develop a team to enhance performance by setting clear accountable performance measures for 3PL partners and team
  • Devise the strategy of 3PL expansion and support in shortlisting of the partners
  • Contract and rate card Management
  • Evaluate the performance of partners and publish insights on the daily, weekly, monthly levels along with planning for improvements accordingly
  • Enable Operations team by identifying improvement opportunities through Data analysis
  • Ensure allocation of packages amongst partners while keeping partner performance & strategic perspective into consideration in alignment with operations
  • Support new business initiatives and projects and contribute to review meetings and change process
  • Ensure effective logistics implementation takes place relating to the changes
  • Conduct environmental audits for logistics activities to ensure processes are up to date and compliant with the current rules and regulations
  • Share scheduled/Adhoc reports with management on logistics performance
