Team: Roaming and Interconnection

Requirement: 1

Duty Station: Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs and future requirements.

Main responsibility areas:

• Perform IREG tests for inbound and outbound roaming scenarios with different operators before launching the service.
• Make the system ready with necessary configurations to launch all the services with new partners.
• Analyze system and service KPIs and take necessary action to maintain at defined benchmark level.
• Analyze quality test reports for roaming and interconnection services and perform periodic quality test with different partners.
• Ensure productive cooperation regarding implementation, operation, change-management and different kind of problems with all stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot customer complaints received through internal and customer care for all core services.
• Secure roaming partner’s test SIM cards and the SIM card inventory accordingly.
• Perform route cause analysis and provide solution to problems/issues related to roaming and interconnection services with help of available tools.
• Perform operation and maintenance tasks of core network elements to ensure 100% system and service availability.
• Maintain professional communication with vendors, carriers and partners to keep system and services up and running.
• Configure and audit roaming database, perform optimization works based on procedures/instructions received.
• Analyze and solve alarms/incidents of core network meeting OLA criteria.
• Monitor system resource utilization and propose expansions if required. 
• Document the procedures, prepare reports of cases and incidents.
• Implement changes in core network elements closely coordinating with the team and aligning to operational guidance and processes in place.

Qualification and experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or other relevant disciplines
• Preference will be given to candidate having prior relevant experience 
• Should possess good IT and Network knowledge
